First time posting from my sk, lets see how this goes. Life has been a
little crazy lately ,computers on the fritz and all that. Gotta fix that
flux compacitor!
Anyway, if u know me u know I hate B.E.T. But they have a couple new
shows and are actually trying to gain some appeal as an actual network,
and not just a mash of overplayed booty videos,comicview, and UPN
reruns.
They have this new show called the 5, where they countdowm 5 hot things
going on in urban culture. Its a daily show , but they manage to keep
the content interesting. I actually learned that the pioneers of hiphop
are givin tours to the original landmarks of hiphop. Which is dope, when
I remember the name ill post something about it. Anywho , I thought the
channel was taking a turn for the better.
Then we have Hell Date, a candid camera type dating show. The concept is
dope but the execution is oh so wrong. At the end of the "Hell Date" a
little midget comes out in a devil suit and screams "YOU ON HELL
DATE!!!!". I'm like WTF. Might as well had sambo come out. A good show
ruined by the network execs. Because I'm sure this idea qas not in the
original pitch.
