_'Next week is the official release of the L&D x DC Collaboration. It was great to partner up with the big homies again for yet another classic. The muse for the Lemar and Dauley admiral was the idea of regatta sail boats. Fabrics and materials used on the sail boats originally inspired, but in the process of creating the shoe other elements began to reshape the vision to further address the lifestyle behind the idea. The shoe captures a metropolitan individual engaging in a beach bum mentality. Both colorways were created as a reflection of sand and concrete. The patterns on the side panels represent the art often depicted on regatta wind sails. '

_Kanye West and Nike Sportswear teamed up to produce the Air Yeezy. There's been alot of buzz surrounding these. Every blog was craving info after peeping snapshots of these when kanye wore them for the Glow in the Dark Tour. The final product looks dope. You can definatly see where the inspirations stem from, but they still looks original. A+ Mr. West.

_Jordan Brand is releasing a Jordan I pack with an 'A Tribe Called Quest Theme'. I originally dismissed it as another failed attemp by JB. But then i noticed that i had a tee with a similar theme. This same concept was used in a collaboration tee from Rocksmith and UNDRCRWN and it was 10x better than this. Check it out:

NHTVSN interview with DJ Clark Kent..........!!!

_online video magazine NHTVSN recently did an interview with DJ Clark Kent. An interesting watch for anyone into hiphop at all. This guy is basically responsible for introducing Jay-z and B.I.G. He goes into detail about producing the track Brooklyn's Finest, which was the first time the two MCs met and touched wax together.

_Nike recently released a Hyperdunk shoe in the colorway that mimics the Marty Mcfly shoes from "Back to the Future II".

......I actually think they did a pretty good job. the shoe gives you that feel without looking bulky and 80s like the originals. There were something like 300 pairs of these produces. I like them but the hype train ran all over these.

Eggplant Foamposite.......EEEEK!!

_a couple people on nt noticed that DC rapper Wale had on some dope looking foamposites in his new video for the song "Artistic Integrity" (see below). come to find out , these are actually the eggplant foamposites set to release first quarter 09. as i get older, im starting to find myself not interested in any new releases but these definately catch my radar. and i missed out on the blue penny OGs. so i have to get these. enjoy.

_As much as a DOOM fan i am, im kind of dissapointed in these. might have to see them in person. the ostrich print is looking nice though. also , they have lace locks SPR(super) on the left and VLN(villian) on the righ. very nice touch. im a sucker for lacelocks.
