Swag Jacking_Vol. 2....................!!!

_Jordan Brand is releasing a Jordan I pack with an 'A Tribe Called Quest Theme'. I originally dismissed it as another failed attemp by JB. But then i noticed that i had a tee with a similar theme. This same concept was used in a collaboration tee from Rocksmith and UNDRCRWN and it was 10x better than this. Check it out:

Obama is going to be assasinated..........??!!??

_ok so im tired of people saying that when Barack Obama becomes president(and he will) that it will end with an inevitable assassination. Yes, there are a bunch of racist extremists in this country that would love nothing more than to kill the first black president. I fully understand the dangers that he will face. So im pretty sure the Secret Service and all the intellegence agencies that our tax dollars fund do too. If i wasnt mistaken , our current head of state is a big doucher and deserves to be shot. Im willing to bet that there is a couple of folks that have even tried. They are probably UNDER the jail somewhere in federal pound you in the ass prison. As crazy as it sounds, white america loves Obama . They got him to where he is today. I think it will take more than some crazy hick with a gun fetish to murder the president. I pray that nothing of that caliber happens. I like to have a little faith in my country. Please dont let me down.

kill the noise .....!!

ok so I'm tied of the media giving way too much coverage to
celeberties that are drinking and drugging their lives away. if amy
winehouse wants to get wastes who gives a damn. she a grown woman.
what about all the kids that get abused by alcoholic dads? where's the
CNN special on that. if lil Wayne wants to sip liquid codiene and
promethezene with sprite , let him do him. he's smart enough to make
his own decisions. just because he is famous that makes his bout with
substance abuse that much more important than the thousands of
families that are torn apart by the same issues . I'm all for
educating people about the harms if alcholisn and drug abuse . but
concern should be equal across the board. I just hate it when the
media only realizes something is a problem when a celebrity is involved.

p.s. lindsay lohan, if you are reading, hang with me and you ski for
free.

Mike's Soft Lemonade.......!

_why is mikes hard lemonade marketed toward men, when only women drink it? there is nothing "hard" about lemonade. I don't care how many comercials you make with slamming glasses , deep voiced narrators, and hot chicks. no man with any dignity or taste buds is going to buy that. so quit frontin and market to underaged females, because they keep you in business.

_FrankenBike is Alive!

About a month in a half ago i decided to start a fixie project. for those not in the know click here. I purchased an old Schwinn Caliente frame off craigslist and decided to strip and paint it. i decided to use a chemical stripper to get the paint off. got most of it but still had to sand it down to make it smooth. 2 days of hard sanding well spend. the painting process went well. had some trouble with the clearcoat. it kept bubbling because i wasnt cleaning it thouroughly. so i had to sand it down on those parts and paint it again. i bought a budget wheel set of ebay. ran in to some problems with the front wheel so i had to get a whole new wheel for the front. then because i got a new wheel, i had to replace the tire and tube.(pain in the ass). so now i have the bike painted and wheels ready to go. I had the local bike shop install the chain, bottom bracket, and crankset. everything went good with that but i realized i didnt have the money for pedals and had to pick them up later. so i buy the pedals and they dont fit. i take them back and purchase another pair from the origial bike shop. i rushed home to put everything together and give my bike a test run. the first 30 mins is dope, then my pedal falls off. apparently i had no idea what i was doing. the pedals were on the wrong sides. long story short. i THINK i get one pedal in good but the crank arm is strippped. got it fixed at the bike shop. rode it home. the OTHER pedal comes off. Now i have to find time to make it to the bike shop with a busy work week. everyone told me i should just buy a bike, but thats too easy. All in all it was a fun yet expensive experience. The bike rides well and is mad fast.. i just need to get my pedal fixed and ill be on my way.

_Nas is a B****....!!!

Nas changes controversial album title

"A representative for Def Jam has confirmed to EW.com that hip-hop artist Nas has made an eleventh-hour decision to change the title of his new album from N----- to simply Nas. A representative for Def Jam has confirmed to EW.com that hip-hop artist Nas has made an eleventh-hour decision to change the title of his new album from N----- to simply Nas. The Queens rapper sparked a heated debate last fall when he announced the provocative title for his upcoming ninth record, but last October, Island Def Jam Music Group chair Antonio "L.A." Reid publicly denied widespread reports that label execs were uncomfortable with his decision. "We stand firmly behind and beside our artists with pride and with pleasure," Reid told MTV News at the time. "Anything Nas wants to do, I completely stand beside him."

_Via Hollywood Insider

_Ok so if you have been following hiphop at all for the past 6 months, you know that Nas had an album set to release by the name of Nigger. Alot of people have been telling me they think that he is going overboard and is just trying to create buzz for his upcoming release. Me being a fan of the culture and an advocate of the artistry that i think voices like nas possess, i countered their arguments. I believed that nas was making a polictical statement, trying to put the power back into the word. (he stated in an interview that he witinessed young white suburban kids calling eachother nigger, which sparked the album title.) But after i read this , im beggining to think that the whole thing was a marketing tool. Why six months down the line, when the album is less than two months away , would you change the title of the album. Because the "label" wont let you do it? BULLSHIT. if nas really cared about this album as a piece of art and wanted it to be heard. it could have been released. I think its really immature to use the word to get people to pay attention to your album. This album has potential to make some noise. To get people talking. Now we are stuck with an album called Nas. I will be downloading this.

_Mac vs. PC aka Democratic Primary Election '08......?!!?

_Hi, im Hilary. I use tricky advertising to take advantage of my lesser educated demographic. I pride myself on telling you what the other guy can't do as apposed to what I actually do. I'm generally not much different from my counterpart, but i am lacking in overall production value. I bend the truth a little when it comes to my crafty debating techniques, but at the end of the day, i just look cool on tv. You don't need to think about your vote, just support me.

_Hi, I'm Obama. People tend to hate on the fact that i have huge support. Even though i'm winning, my opponent still seems to have an air of false confidence. Don't be fooled. Just because you support me, that doesnt make you an internet, cult following nerd with a geeker than thou attitude. They might portray me as a loser and make all my opponents winning look like david defeating goliath. But im still a Giant.

_Haha...!

_Two colums for who is and who aint niggas.........!

_Statistically speaking, I have a 66% chance of entering a correctional
facility before the age of 40. The odds are not quite in my favor.
Statistically speaking, I will father a child and leave an unwed mother
under the age of 20 to care for it. Government census will categorize me
as African American and/or Black. This will allow them to make crass
generalizations of a very eclectic group of young men. This is all done
with numbers. With statistics. Statistically speaking , I won't go to
college. Nor will I hold a full time job. I'm a sucker for fance
advertising and malt liqour, statistically. Statistically speaking , I
will read on a 6th grade level and put more capital toward real gold
than real estate. Tobbaco companies love me, they make cheap cigars just
for me. Their numbers don't lie. I love newports and shitty tobbaco
rolled in brown paper bags. Hey lady, please clutch your bag tighter and
reroute yourself to the other side of the street. Because statistically
I'm no mathematician, but the numbers say that I have a high chance of
robbing you. Why not follow me around in department stores? Corporate
just sent in the new shoplifting numbers. I know I fit the profile.
Black male, 100-300 pounds, 5-6 feet. I'm in there somewhere. So don't
worry about me, because statistically speaking, I have no future.

_Slice bread is overrated.....!

_80s babies are probably the best thing runnin right now.
Not these 90s babys frontin like us, dressing like idiots in high
schools all across nyc. I'm mean real ones, that grew up off the wu and
nes. From art, movies, music, and television, we are in charge. We can
recite the words to it "aint hard to tell" and memorized the contra
code(up,down, left, right, left, right,a,b,start). We used to rock hi-teks
and listen to meth and mary. We are why sneakers are back. Because we
were old enough to appreciate them when they originally came out. we
know what real leather uptowns feel like. We are the reason kanye is a
lo head. Tommy hill was ill. There would be no transformers without us
buyin all them damn toys. That movie was made for us. Comic book movies
are major on our dollar. Who's buyin all these ghostface albums and sold
out that rage and wu concert within minutes? The world is our for the
time being. I have to admit it feels good.

Dear God,

Thank you for creating the wonderful beverage that is Nantucket nectures. Also, thank Jadakiss for making that song and putting me on to them. And thank my cousin Mike for drinking the strawberry Kiwi joints everyday and getting me hooked on them. When i open my shop in 2009, i will have a cooler full of these amazing drinks. So that everyone who enters can enjoy the great , refreshing, natural taste.

P.S. please don't let me get diabetes from abusing these delicious drinks this summer. Its been very hot lately, i can't help myself. I'm weak , i know.

Lets Ban "LOL"

let's ban "lol".
people claim that chatting online is so non personal, and i have to agree.
98.543% of the time, when someone types "lol", they not really laughing out loud.
lmao is the new "lol" , and even that has lost some of its flavor.
if something is funny, just run with the staple "hahha".
if something isn't, just move on to the next piece of random im chatter.
take no offense when you crack a semi-corny one liner though ur floating IM window and recieve no "lol" in return.
highten your joke game to the point where ur aim conversations are as relevant as oratory exchanges.
let's ban "lol".

.....and sorry about the jesus thing in advance, i thought it was funny.

Mr.Nigger(Song by Mos Def)

" Say ho, everybody say ho
By the way yo
I said shake your soul like way back in the day-yo
By the way yo, everybody say ho
Everybody say hooooo- hooo
Everybody say ho

And check it out now
Who is the cat eatin out on the town
And make the whole dining room turn they head round
Mr Nigga, Nigga Nigga
He got the speakers in the trunk with the bass on crunk
Who be ridin up in the highrise elevator
Other tenants who be prayin they ain't the new neighbor
Mr Nigga, Nigga Nigga
They try to play him like a chump cause he got what they want

He under thirty years old but already he's a pro
Designer trousers slung low ccause his pockets stay swoll'
Could afford to get up and be anywhere he go
V.I.P. at the club, backstage at the show
(Yes y'all) the best crib, the best clothes
Hottest whips on the road neck and wrists on froze (say word)
Checks with O's o-o-o-o-ohs
Straight all across the globe watch got three time-zones
Keep the digital phone up to his dome
Two assistants, two bank accounts, two homes
One problem; even with the O's on his check
The po-po stop him and show no respect
"Is there a problem officer?" Damn straight, it's called race
That motivate the jake (woo-woo) to give chase
Say they want you successful, but that ain't the case
You livin large, your skin is dark they flash a light in your face

Now, who is cat dining out on the town
Maitre'd wanna take a whole year to sit him down
Mr Nigga, Nigga Nigga
He got the speakers in the trunk with the bass on crunk
Now, who is the cat at Armani buyin wears
With the tourists who be askin him, do you work here?
Mr Nigga, Nigga Nigga
Nigga Nigga

Yo, the Abstract with the Mighty Mos Def
White folks got it muffled across beneath they breathe
"I didn't say it.."
But they'll say it out loud again
When they get with they close associates and friends
You know, sneak it in with they friends at the job
Happy hour at the bar while this song is in they car
And even if they've never said it, lips stay sealed
They actions reveal how their hearts really feel
Like, late night I'm on a first class flight
The only brother in sight the flight attendent catch fright
I sit down in my seat, 2C
She approach officially talkin about, "Excuse me"
Her lips curl up into a tight space
Cause she don't believe that I'm in the right place
Showed her my boarding pass, and then she sort of gasped
All embarrassed put an extra lime on my water glass
An hour later here she comes by walkin past
"I hate to be a pest but my son would love your autograph"
(Wowwww.. Mr. Nigga I love you, I have all your albums!..)
They stay on nigga patrol on american roads
And when you travel abroad they got world nigga law
Some folks get on a plane go as they please
But I go over seas and I get over-SEIZED
London Heathrow, me and my people
They think that illegal's a synonym for negro
Far away places, customs agents flagrant
They think the dark face is smuggle weight in they cases
Bags inspected, now we arrested
Attention directed to contents of our intestines
Urinalyis followed by X-rays
Interrogated and detained til damn near the next day
No evidence, no appology and no regard
Even for the big american rap star
For us especially, us most especially
A Mr Nigga VIP jail cell just for me
"If I knew you were coming I'd have baked a cake
Just got some shoe-polish, painted my face"
They say they want you successful, but then they make it stressful
You start keepin pace, they start changin up the tempo

Now, who is cat riding out on the town
State trooper wanna stop him in his ride, pat him down
Mr Nigga, Nigga Nigga
He got the speakers in the trunk with the bass on crunk
Now, who is the cat with the hundred dollar bill
They gotta send it to the back to make sure the shit is real
Mr Nigga, Nigga Nigga
Nigga Nigga.. Nigga

You can laugh and criticize Michael Jackson if you wanna
Woody Allen, molested and married his step-daughter
Same press kickin dirt on Michael's name
Show Woody and Soon-Yi at the playoff game, holdin hands
Sit back and just bug, think about that
Would he get that type of dap if his name was Woody Black?
O.J. found innocent by a jury of his peers
And they been fuckin with that nigga for last five years
Is it fair, is it equal, is it just, is it right?
Do you do the same shit when the defendent face is white?
If white boys doin it, well, it's success
When I start doin, well, it's suspect
Don't hate me, my folks is poor, I just got money
America's five centuries deep in cotton money
You see a lot of brothers caked up, yo straight up
It's new, y'all livin off of slave traders paper
But I'm a live though, yo I'm a live though
I'm puttin up the big swing for my kids yo
Got my mom the fat water-front crib yo
I'm a get her them pretty bay windows
I'm a cop a nice home to provide in
A safe environment for seeds to reside in
A fresh whip for my whole family to ride in
And if I'm still Mr Nigga, I won't find it suprisin"

Theres so much to this song, or even just the phrase, that can be said. It provides non blacks with an opportunity to see the world through our eyes. This country has done so much to destroy our characters. The pressure from all the hostility forces us to become distant and cold. Creating what i call the Angry Black Man syndrome. America makes us angry black people. We are not born angry black babies. However, after taking a travel through this scrutiny machine that we call America, we become adults with chips on our shoulders. In the news recently, OJ Simpson is being sued by the family of (find name) for wrongful death. Maybe i am looking at the trial in naive way. But from my understanding, if you are proven innocent of a crime, you are INNOCENT. People always tell me that i need to just let this feeling of ill will loose. Honestly, i try to give this country the benefit of the doubt. But whenever my feelings start to change, something like this happens. I still have hope that in future generations , things will be different. Bringing a child into a world that is in this state is scary. We as Americans just want to live our lives in a supposedly free country and raise our children to be better people than we were. Its hard to accomplish this as a black American. Whenever i turn on the television theres an abundance of imagery depicting my people in a negative way. All i ask is that people get to knob us before they judge us. One bad person does not represent the whole race. Hell, 100 bad people don't represent a race of millions. I know i am rambling but i just had something to say as an angry black man. I need a blunt.

Peace
